Green Smoothie Recipe

If you’re feeling the post-Christmas slump, you’re not the only one (sob)! After a month of existing on a diet of predominantly chocolate, sweets, mulled wine and MORE CHOCOLATE, it’s no surprise we’re feeling a little worse for the wear. But never fear, we have a glory-ous solution! Try out our recipe for a Magically Marvellous Rejuvenating Potion (AKA a green smoothie) below and get your 2018 back on track…

Ingredients:

1 handful of spinach

250ml of almond milk

Half a mango

1 frozen banana

1 tsp maca powder (it’s a herbaceous biennial plant of the crucifer family, native to the high Andes of Peru, in case you wondering – but don’t worry, you can find it in any good health food shop)

Method:

1. Throw your spinach into the blender first, along with the almond milk and maca powder and blend until it starts to look smooth.

2. Next add in your mango and banana and blitz.

3. Drink up and feel fab.
