BEHIND MANY A GREAT SOAPERWOMAN…

Is a dad who gave you your first piggy-back, taught you how to tie your shoelaces, helped you ride a bike, and scared the bejeezus out of every boyfriend (or girlfriend) you’ve ever had.

So we felt it was high time we honoured them with a GIVEAWAY in time for Father’s Day!

Simply comment below and tell us about the best lesson your dad ever taught you. We’ll choose five wonderful dads to win a pile of our few remaining, soon-to-disappear-forever men’s products to make him feel all rare and one-of-a-kind. (We’ve heard dads quite like that sort of thing.)

So, make like a Freud patient and TELL US ABOUT YOUR FATHER!

View our Terms and Conditions here >

Contest ends at 1700 PDT Wednesday 13 June (so get in quick!). Winners will notified within 12 hours so please ensure you reply with your address by 1300 PDT on Thursday 14 June as prizes will be sent by Fed Ex that afternoon.

Dad taught me to change a tire in case I ever needed to do it own my own, well I did and his advise was to loosen the lugh nuts BEFORE i jacked up the car. SO GLAD I remember that advice.

Even if I don’t win this contest, I’m saving this entry to show dad because he truly believes that none of us kids have paid him all that much mind. Little does he know that I had to mentally scroll through a ton of his anecdotes and pearls of wisdom accumulated from years of lectures that started with “I know you think that since you’re a teenager you know EVERYTHING”. It was hard to pare down the one that would translate to anyone that isn’t immediate family in its hilarity. Or inspiration. So the absolute best advice that man has passed down to us kids? Always have a stocked tool box that includes duct tape. The ceiling is falling down? Duct tape it until I can get over there. You broke a window? Duct tape it until I can get over there. The door is off the hinges? Duct tape it until I can get over there. You split your leg open? Duct tape it until the ambulance gets there. One time when he visited me at college he declared our apt a firetrap and added “figure out an escape plan in case this place goes up in flames. I think you could jump out this window and maybe sprain an ankle but that’s better than being dead! Oh and here’s some duct tape”.

My dad taught me that although health is everything, without it we are nothing, if it fails you in some way and you’re left with a weakening condition or permanent disability, don’t let it prevent you from living a mentally healthy life and surround yourself with, love, laughter, friends, family, happiness and a little rock n roll is good for the soul. My papa is a rolling stone!

My Daddy used to say, “Spend a little more and get the better product; it saves you time AND money in the long run!”

MY dad always advised me that never forget the person who helped you, when you need it . He always said that money will come and go but relationships are forever. Because of my father, i understood the true meaning of relationships in my life and i have wonderful friends and family..Thanks dad…

My dad taught me to never walk away from something until I was proud of my accomplishments. As well as you never know who’s watching you, so always be on your best behavior. One day a stranger could be my boss. Love my dad <3
